With experience spanning both auditing and senior finance roles, Karin Mellegård Djärf joins Lagercrantz as its new CFO. She was drawn to the company’s entrepreneurial spirit – and aims to contribute with clarity, analysis, and business-oriented support.

Karin Mellegård Djärf began her career at PwC and has since held several senior finance positions, including roles at Swedish Match, AFRY, and most recently as CFO of the listed company Byggpartnergruppen. She brings with her broad experience in both operational and strategic finance to Lagercrantz.

"What mainly attracted me to Lagercrantz was the entrepreneurial culture and decentralized model, where responsibility for the business largely rests with the acquired companies. I also share Lagercrantz’s core values of simplicity, efficiency, and strong businessmanship", says Karin Mellegård Djärf.

As a leader, she emphasizes clarity, engagement, and responsiveness, and values a management team that challenges each other constructively.

"I want to continue ensuring high quality and transparency in reporting, while contributing relevant analyses that support acquisition decisions and help us achieve our financial targets: at least 15 percent annual earnings growth and a 25 percent return on equity."

Karin now looks forward to getting to know the organization and further develop the finance function as a strong support to the subsidiaries, enabling them to focus fully on their business.
