Lagercrantz acquires Proagria Miljø A/S
Lagercrantz Group’s subsidiary Lagercrantz A/S has today acquired all shares in the Danish water flow control company Proagria Miljø A/S.
Proagria develops and manufactures valves, gates, and other components used by aquaculture (land-based fish farms), local communities and landowners to control the flow of water. Proagria is based in Otterup on Fyn in Denmark and generates annual revenue of approximately MDKK 40. For a presentation see www.proagria.dk.
”As Proagria’s long-term partner for Sweden, we know their products are very high quality and look forward to be able to offer them to our customers in Europe, North America and elsewhere. We are also excited to establish a presence in the growing aquaculture segment.” comments Torgny Larsson, MD of Lagercrantz profit centre Wapro Group.
“It feels assuring to now hand over the responsibility to a long-term and stable owner that can help the company to grow internationally and has the muscle to keep up with the demands of the growing aquaculture segment” says Eli Westergaard, former owner of Proagria.
Proagria will be part of our profit centre Wapro Group and as such be part of the Lagercrantz Niche Products division. The acquisition is expected to generate a small positive addition to the Group’s earnings per share on an annual basis.
