Lagercrantz has today acquired 100 percent of the shares in the company G9 Landskab, Park & Byrum A/S including Came Danmark A/S. G9 develops, designs and supplies products for park and urban environments including products such as automatic height-adjustable bollards and barriers and products for water and wetlands. G9 has strong market positions within its product areas and works directly with customers in direct channels, architects’ offices, park management and municipalities. G9 generates annual revenue of approximately MDKK 42, with good profitability.

“Lagercrantz acquires and develops businesses with leading positions in niches. G9 fits well into this description and we intend to continue developing and building the operations based on the strong platform that has been created,” comments Jörgen Wigh, President and CEO of Lagercrantz Group.

“I see Lagercrantz as a strategic, long-term owner that can further develop and continue the company’s successful journey,” says Knud Birk Sørensen, owner of G9.

The G9 companies are located in Randers on the Jutland peninsula in Denmark and will have their base in the Danish operations within the Electronics division as of July 2019. The acquisition is expected to generate a small positive addition to the Group’s earnings per share on an annual basis.
