Norwesco
In our increasingly electrified society, people need to live and work in a safe environment. Norwesco mainly supplies electrical safety products, and the product range includes everything from safety switches, stove guards and residual current devices to timers, switches and electric vehicles chargers with load balancing. The majority, 60%, is sold in the Swedish market and the remainder is exported to other Nordic countries and Northern Europe.
Norwesco in the Lagercrantz Group
Norwesco was acquired by Lagercrantz in 2010, marking the beginning of a successful growth journey. The majority of Norwesco's products are manufactured in Sweden at the facility in Öregrund, and with export initiatives in the Nordic countries and other Northern European countries, volumes have increased along the way. Lagercrantz's decentralised business model values local commitmen twith a high degree of freedom and individual responsibility. The business, in collaboration with Lagercrantz, has developed and improved step by step as demand for the company's products has increased. This has reinforced Norwesco's strong reputation as a quality supplier with reliable products. In recent years, efforts have been made to expand the product range, made possible by the company's access to staff with high technical expertise.
By becoming a part of Lagercrantz, Norwesco gained an active owner and a dedicated board of directors who are forward-looking in the company's development and, through networks and contacts in other countries, have supported the company on its international growth journey. Today, Norwesco has a clear focus as a technology-driven and customer-oriented company, with high quality and delivery precision as guiding principles.
’’We are driven to be the first choice for installers when choosing electrical safety products and are perceived as an innovator in the electrical industry. For that, support and assistance are required, which we get from Lagercrantz and its network.”
