Landauer Radon is now Radonova

New name, exciting new developments, same commitment to radon science, product innovation and customer service.

WESTMONT, Illinois (May 15, 2017) —Effective Monday, Landauer Radon will officially begin operations as Radonova. The planned transition commenced with a name change from Landauer to Landauer Radon when the business first separated from Landauer, Inc. with the financial backing of Lagercrantz.  Now, after thoughtful deliberation, the company has unveiled its permanent new identity.
Aside from a new name, it will be business as usual.  Radonova will continue to offer its high-quality radon measurement products, manufacturing, analysis and protection plans.

This move has been extremely positive for Radonova customers. With the strong financial backing of its parent company, Radonova has been able to devote more resources to quality and R&D than ever before.  Radonova has spent the transitional months not only formulating its new identity, but enhancing its service model, implementing tighter quality controls, perfecting a global, integrated analysis solution and preparing for the launch of game-changing radon detection technology.

“Because we are now a part of the Lagercrantz Group AB, it was the logical choice to rename the company,” says Karl Nilsson, Radonova CEO. With our proprietary Radtrak2® and Rapidos® radon detectors, and our state-of-the-art laboratory, we will continue as the world leaders in qualitative radon measurement, with a heavy focus on exceeding customer expectations regarding quality, service and handling.”

Although the company’s identity has changed, its long-standing reputation has not. Built on the backbone of Landauer, Inc. (NYSE: LDR), an industry leader in radiation dosimetry, Radonova will carry that leadership legacy forward in the radon industry.

There are exciting developments on the horizon. Over the coming months, Radonova will continue to enhance RadOnline, a private back-office system that allows customers 24/7 access to every piece of data collected across every radon measurement project. The company is also positioned to launch a new detector.

“We couldn’t be more excited that our transition is complete,” adds Bill Rounds, Radonova Vice President. “With formalities out of the way, we can turn 100% of our focus back to core business and innovation, including the upcoming launch of our newest detector, Duotrak®, which measures radon in two positions and affords users ultimate control of the active measurement time.”
