Elpress invests for the future

The transition to a more sustainable world has created a greater focus on renewable energy sources and environmentally friendly means of transport. To meet the increasing demand for quality, safe and durable electrical connections, Elpress invests heavily in its production facility.

In total, it is an investment equivalent to SEK 75 million that have been deployed over 2.5 years, which is the largest single investment made within the Lagercrantz Group.

In addition to doubled capacity and a better working environment in the surface treatment, the investment also results in reduced water consumption for the entire production plant. Only 1000 m³ of municipal water is used per year and a separate return plant means that the same water can be reused 10 times over.

Elpress acting CEO Daniel Forsman commented:
"We are very pleased that our financially strong and long-term owner, the Lagercrantz Group, believes in us and gives us the opportunity to develop and realize our vision of becoming a leading global player in electrical connections."

Lagercrantz CEO Jörgen Wigh added:
"With this investment, we are building a strong platform to contribute to the electrification of society at large and for Elpress' future as a company."
